Is it possible to walk from the St. Louis Zoo to the St. Louis Science Center or do you have to drive?
You can walk there but its a bit of a hike. You can leave the zoo and head toward Hampton. Instead of crossing over the highway there (especially since they just tore the bridge down) you will want to walk in the park along the ball fields until you reach the Planetarium. There is a walkway over the highway from the Planetarium to the Science Center. You will pass by the Mounted Police stables on your way so you might want to stop in and take a gander at the horses.

Good hotels in st Louis?
I need a hotel for me and my boyfriend and me we want a get away weekend any suggestion for a hotel downtown st Louis? and any attraction u recommend?
I agree that the Renaissance Grand on Washington near the convention center is a good choice. I stayed there the night of my wedding. They are kind of in financial trouble, so you might be able to get a good rate. It’s going to be closer to the bar scene over on Washington Avenue which is a mid-20′s and older crowd.
If you want to stay on Laclede’s Landing which has a younger bar scene, i.e. everyone that just turned 21 then Lumiere Place – which is actually the Four Seasons is close but expensive. They also have a nice outdoor bar and pool area overlooking the river.
The Sheraton City Center near the Scottrade center is nice, as is the Westin near Busch Stadium and the Hyatt Regency at Union Station and the one near the Arch. If you don’t care too much about where it is other than that it’s a nice hotel, try one of the sites like hotwire or priceline and try getting a deal on a 4 or 5 star hotel. You’ll get a great room at a fancy hotel. My wife and I do this often when we want to have romantic night without going on vacation. Just make sure to check the box for downtown.
The Arch is of course a great attraction, as is the Anheuser Busch (InBev) Brewery Tour which is just south of downtown. The City Museum on Washington Avenue is a great place to explore and can be a lot of fun. If the Cardinals are in town, that can also be a fun night. You can even get 2 tickets for a total of $11 if you show up before 9 AM on gameday (the first 275 people in line get a voucher for 2 random seats to the game) just wait near the 8th street box office near gate 3. I did this today in fact and got some field box seats that are normally over $40 a piece.
Good luck and enjoy your visit.

I’m road tripping in August with my girlfriend and will be there on a Fri & Sat.
1. The Arch. Its something you have to go to.
2. Forest Park. There is so much to do there, from the zoo, the jewel box, the art museum, the muny (in the summer), the boathouse, and much more. Plus, almost everything is free! Also, you could picnic.
3. Cardinals game. Best fans in baseball.
(sorry had to add more!) 4. Laumeier sculpture park. Its so much fun!
5. Dont forget to go to ted drewes! Its amazing!

Sandy asks…
I am 20 yrs old, and I need a car from St. Louis Missouri March 30-April 2nd. I am desperate and need to know who will rent to me, I had one company and I called today to reserve and when I told him, I would be making sure the car was reliable and everything he quickly backed out which led me to believe he would charge me for an unreliable car in the first place. I have full coverage insurance and my insurance will cover any car, so I need someone who will give me good advice or a good company to call where I don’t get stranded from some broken down car or overcharged. I have heard alot of “small local companies” but I don’t know what companies those are or where I can find them…Real Advice Help Please!

I suspect you are out of luck.
As far as I am aware there are no companies anywhere in all 50 states that will rent a car to anyone under 21.
